  • Peter James  |  Chairman

    College of DuPage

    Peter is an Assistant Professor in the Business, Management and Marketing Department at the College of DuPage. His primary focus is that of Entrepreneurship in which he teaches classes, advises the Entrepreneurship Club (CODEC) and is the faculty lead for the Emerging Entrepreneurs (E2) program on campus. Originally from New York City, his military, corporate and academic careers have taken him all over the U.S., various countries with a final stop in Downers Grove. In addition to teaching, Peter is passionate about coaching and helping individuals overcome obstacles in order to achieve their business and career goals.

    Lisle Park District

    Mike Toohey, Superintendent of Recreation. I have served as Superintendent of Recreation with the Lisle Park District since 2007. One of the things I love about Lisle is the cooperation between the businesses community, the Village, School District and Park District. As a Chamber Board Member, I will ensure that the tradition of unity continues. I look forward to working with all the members to ensure that the tradition of working together continues.

     Bensidoun U.S.A.

     University of Toledo graduate and ten-year member of the Lisle Chamber, Paula has volunteered on many committees and events.  Currently, Paula serves as chairperson of the Ambassador Committee and  the annual Dinner Dance Committee.  Paula also serves on the West Suburban Community Pantry Board of Directors and several of their committees, as well as serving as the Recording Secretary for the  Green Trails Improvement Association. Paula is a Bensidoun USA Supervisor of the summer outdoor French Markets in Lisle and Western Springs and the year-round indoor Chicago French Market.  Paula is  the Marketing Manager at the certified public accounting firm JCMP & Associates, P.C.

     Annette Loritz is the Director of Enrollment Development for the School of Graduate, Adult and Professional Education at Benedictine University.

    The Education Foundation of Downers Grove District 58 was founded in 2002 as a vehicle to obtain and distribute financial and other resources for the enhancement of education programs at the 13 schools of Downers Grove Grade School District 58.

     Navistar is a leading manufacturer of commercial trucks, buses, defense vehicles and engines. At Navistar, Christopher has global responsibility for the procurement of commercial truck and bus exteriors and  body components. Christopher looks forward to developing strong, lasting relationships with Lisle area businesses, their employees and the entire Lisle community.


  • Susan Ross
    The Morton Arboretum

    Susan is Assistant to the President at The Morton Arboretum, an outdoor museum of trees on 1,700 acres.  She has been associated with Lisle since attending Benedictine University as a literature/communications major, then spending the first half of her career as an editor at a telecommunications training center before finding her way to the Arboretum.  There she works to carry out its mission to save and plant trees through living collections and programs in education, scientific research, and visitor services – all for the benefit of a greener, healthier, more beautiful world. She is also the chair for the chamber Program Committee.
