October 19 "Death of the Angels" by Alex Burkholder Alex Burkholder completed 46 years in newspaper, broadcast, and TV journalism in Chicago (including WGN Radio-TV and ABC 7). His accumulated knowledge of the fire has made him an expert on the subject. His book marks the 60th anniversary of the tragic Chicago School Fire. It features interviews with victims not previously available to the public. The book also provides evidence that the fire was the work of a student arsonist.
