SUMMARY:Community Event - 31st Annual Fishing Derby
DESCRIPTION:The Lisle-Woodridge Fire Fighters Union is pleased to announce their 31st Annual Youth / Adult Fishing Derby. Prizes will be awarded every hour of fishing for the largest catch in each of the six fish game categories. At the conclusion of the derby\, awards will be presented for the overall largest catch in each category. Only youths are eligible for prizes and awards. All children must have adult supervision. You are encouraged to pre-register at the Lisle Park District. All youths pre-registered by Saturday\, May 11 are guaranteed an official derby t-shirt. Additional t-shirts may be available for those registering after the deadline or on derby day. Registration will be taken on May 25 from 6:00-6:45am. Live bait (worms) will be sold at the derby\, as well as food\, snacks\, and hot and cold beverages. Participants and their families will be eligible for raffle prizes throughout the event.
