At the Lisle Area Chamber we are striving to help our members in many ways. We provide programs designed to facilitate business relationships and opportunities. This includes our monthly luncheons, business after hours, ribbon-cuttings to welcome new businesses and new members, and an advocacy role on behalf of our members. Our Ambassadors are a core of Chamber members who visit our new members and mentor them as they utilize their membership in the Chamber. Women in Business is a group that meets for lunch on a monthly basis and provides speakers who offer business and personal advice on how one can improve their particular vocation. The Downtown Business Council leads the way in promoting Lisle’s downtown merchants by offering special programs in the summer and at the holiday time.

We have a networking group for Not-for-Profits which meets for a quarterly breakfast and presents valuable insights for that segment of the Chamber community. Our Lisle Executive Networking Group meets for lunch twice a month and provides leads and business information to each other. We also have a Government Affairs committee which keeps abreast of what is happening on the local, regional, state, and federal arena which might affect our members.

The Chamber gives back to the community by participating in local events such as the Memorial Day Parade, Eyes to the Skies Festival, annual 5K/10K run, Cruise Nights in downtown Lisle, information booth at the French Market, and a scholarship program for graduating high school students. Typically we award 8-12 $500 scholarships to young people who live in Lisle or are sons and daughters of Chamber members. Our annual golf outing and Dinner Dance are enjoyable community events which highlight our members. Our members also receive discounts at chamber businesses and a 25% discount on tuition at Benedictine University. For all these reasons we welcome you to contact us about joining the over 320 members who make this fabulous organization. We were early supporters of the Neighbors of Lisle publication and hope you are enjoying it.
